Respected Pal Ji, thanks for elaborating meaning and significance of this symbol. I suggest following  changes :

1. As given in the logo of Global Sikh Council, we can see that oorha is open with extending line. Let us all of us try to follow a uniform  pattern. This is a unique Symbol given by or Guru Saheb.

2. Secondly, we should follow  the pronunciation as given in Guru Granth Saheb. Following Gurbani  lines will make it clear about pronunciation –

How to start celebrating birthday of Guru Nanak on correct date 14th April i.e Visakhi Day: reverse from Katak to visakh ?
<b>Facts:</b>
1.  S Karam Singh Historian in his book ” Katak Ke Visakh” and majority of other scholars have logically proved that date of birth of Guru Nanak is on Visakhi. Original Mool Nanak-shahi Calendar mentioned date of birth as 14th of April i.e Visakhi day after making all adjustments scientifically. As per this calendar birth date will not fluctuate for 9999 years.
2. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee Amritsar’s website shows birthday in Visakh but also admit that it is being celebrated in Katak on Pooranmashi day. (Text downloaded from sgpc.net is given below for your ready reference)

The Bounteous Lord heard the anguished cry and so, Guru Nanak. He sent to this world of woe. ( Bhai Gurdas Ji)

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji (the First Nanak, the founder of Sikhism) was born on 15th April, 1469 at Rai-Bhoi-di Talwandi in the present distrect of Shekhupura (Pakistan), now Nanakana Sahib. The Birthday of Guru Nanak Sahib is celebrated on 15th Kartik Puranmashi

This Shabad  is relevant to our institutions  who are ignoring the facts.

* So first of all, we should  educate the masses about facts. As proposed by S Gulbarg Singh Ji in webinar, whenever we receive a message about incorrect Gurpurab dates, respond to the sender with correct date from Mool Nanak-shahi Calendar.
As proposed by S Gurpreet Singh GP, small vedio clips should be used on our social media platforms about Gurpurabs as per Mool Nanak-shahi Calendar.
* Strengthening of our institution of <b>Akal Takhat Saheb </b>is very important for creating a rectified uniform code of conduct based upon the teachings of Guru Granth Saheb for Guru-panth and its global implementation. We are to find out ways and means how to select representatives  from each country/ city/ village/ state to accomplish the task. Just as in a democratic system, after parliament legislate to form an act, then rules are drafted to implement  that act. Guru Granth Saheb is our act. It is Guru-panth  who is to draft the rules (code of conduct) based on the teachings of Guru Granth Saheb. I humbly request  the GSC Scholars to consider this point.
